Inspirational Writing

Inspirational writing happens quite early in development. Thoughts from our spirit guides pour into the mind of the medium. These should be put down on paper and recorded. When this first happens, a novice medium will have doubts and think it was their own thoughts. This is normal. The more you progress and practice this method, you will find that beautiful verses and philosophies will transpire.

This is something I would like to share with you. My friend Lyn, who is a healer and medium, wrote this verse shortly after her father passed over to the other side. It was Lyn's father who inspired Lyn to write these beautiful words. This verse was inspired with love, written with love and passed on to you with love.

I've returned to my home,
My journeys end.
It's true what they say,
I'm with family and friends.

It was so hard to leave,
I tried my best to stay,
But I had to go,
You'll understand one day.

Can I tell you though,
You do see the light.
Just shortly before,
You let go of life.

I'm here to guide you,
Whenever you call.
Do not be afraid,
I'll take care of you all.

Trust and believe

I woke up one morning feeling agitated
I wasn’t sure why so I contemplated
I cleared my mind, began my meditation
I gathered strength, lost all trepidation
I was blessed, I knew, with the knowledge of spirit
So I let not my fears my mind inhibit
I had been stricken by the world disasters
Had let the media become my masters
Convinced myself I had nothing to offer
No riches to speak of no wealth to proffer
I believed I was powerless without these things
To help the plight of my fellow beings
I put on my coat and ventured out
My reason for doing so much in doubt
I said hello to a stranger who smiled back at me
We continued our journeys, uplifted and happy
I saw a child, eyes glistening with fear
Lost and bewildered, fighting back a tear
I gently slipped his hand in mine and led him through the crowd
To an anxious looking mother, sure her son would not be found
They embraced each other, their hands locked tight
The love they expressed was a beautiful sight
I shared their emotion and I felt elated
Any self doubt completely dissipated
I walked away and chuckled to myself
Showing kindness to others is good for the health
I continued my journey and heard a desperate plea
From a little old lady, her cat up a tree
I asked for a ladder to help with the rescue
The cat nuzzled my ear and gently purred thank you
The woman so relieved her cat was free from harm
Planted a kiss on my cheek and clutched my arm
I bade her good day and waved goodbye
Touched by her joy, her emotions high
My experiences that day attuned my mind
We need no wealth to help us be kind
My soul was enriched my spirit lifted
With love from strangers I had been gifted
I set out for home, my smile wide
It was cold outside but I felt warm inside

To walk through a forest, watch trees blow in the breeze
Embracing natural silence, no disturbance from conventional noise
Watching eagles fly with gracefulness and poise
Our senses enhanced, our ears hearing with zest

Our peripheral sight heightens as our vision expands
Taking in the scenery far across the lands
Our minds attuned, feeling the earth beneath our feet
Careful not to tread on little insects in retreat
Fresh air fills our lungs, our breathing becoming steady
Being one with nature, so powerful and heady
Wild flowers gently oscillating, so wonderfully benign
Their beauty magnified by the glorious sunshine
Creatures scuttle to and fro assessing the stranger in their midst
Unsure at first if danger lays, curiosity overcoming risk
Little rabbits playing, chasing each other as they prance
Young deer leaping here and there, proud to show their elegance
A beautiful stream gently flowing, stones glistening in the sun
Providing sustenance for animals, both old and young
What an amazing and wondrous sight to see
So many species living in harmony
At times a rabbit may be taken by a fox
A mouse or shrew may fall victim to a hawk
But any killings are done through need
The act of slaying their young to feed
Absence of malice, no distaste of creed
No hatred driven by jealousy or greed
It is said that man is more evolved
But in most atrocities man’s involved
So many lives destroyed in the name of religion
The lives taken for futile reasons you’d never imagine
God created man to love one another
Not to take the life of a sister or brother
So much evolvement from our primitive state
Many lessons unlearned but it’s never too late
To accept our differences and respect each other. To open our hearts, unite in peace together
